I recently started freelancing and I need to regularly update text and fix tables in client contracts on my Windows laptop. Every free tool I have tried so far messes up the formatting, so what would you guys recommend as the best PDF editor for PC?

That is annoying, especially with contracts where a shifted table can make a mess. For proper text and table edits on Windows, I’d start with Adobe Acrobat Pro, as it usually preserves layouts best; Foxit PDF Editor is a decent lighter alternative. I mark up homework and practice sheets, and I always save a copy first because even the good editors can struggle with PDFs that were scanned rather than exported from Word.
