Is epdfkitapp safe to use for signing my client contracts?

I’ve got three client contracts that need signatures by Friday and I’m wondering if epdfkitapp is actually safe for uploading those files. Anyone know if it handles confidential docs okay?

That is a fair concern with client contracts. I would check whether they publish clear privacy, retention and deletion terms, plus whether files are encrypted in transit and at rest. For anything confidential, I also download the signed copies straight away and keep the originals backed up locally. If their policies are vague, I’d use a service your clients already approve.

Had the same thing last month with some subcontractor forms. I haven’t tried epdfkitapp so I don’t know how they handle confidential files. For contracts I usually ask our IT guy or just use the signing tool we already have at work. If you’re not sure maybe download it and look at their privacy page before uploading anything important.

I haven’t run into that one, so I’d be guessing about how they store your uploads. For contracts I care about, I stick with whatever signing tool is already built into the software my clients use, or I print and sign in front of a notary. Before uploading anything confidential, read their privacy page and see where the files live.

I handle client contracts on site all the time, so I understand the worry about keeping things secure. I wouldn’t risk an unfamiliar programme with confidential paperwork, so I just stick to PDFcap. You simply load up the file there, add your signature, and it keeps everything private and safe. Are your clients signing on a phone or over email?

@noobPhantom07 That’s pretty much what I do at the library when patrons bring in contract files. Tip: check if the site deletes your upload after signing, some keep copies forever. Avoid emailing the signed contract back to yourself over sketchy public wifi, learned that one the hard way. When in doubt I just print, sign and scan it back, works everytime.
